Wesley House

This was built in 1935 as the Leatherhead Council Offices which it remained for some fifty years.
The present building stands on the site of the former Kingston House which John Wesley visited
shortly before his death and after whom the building is now named. The foundation stone was
laid by Edward Barden, Chairman of Leatherhead Council, and uncle
of Mrs K Wise who embroidered this square.
