| A very successful
coffee morning was held by the Friends of Leatherhead
Parish Church on November 12th 2005, raising £364
for our work for the preservation of the fabric and
surroundings of the Parish Church. The highlight of the morning was a presentation by the internationally-renowned quilter, Dorothy Stapleton, of her wonderful quilts. Dorothy gave her audience a hugely entertaining review of the many and varied inspirations behind the ideas for her creations and generously donated the proceeds of her signed books to the Friends to support their work in the maintenance of the fabric of the Church and grounds. |
