Success on a high note

Fetcham musician Trevor Pratt struck the right chord when he entered for two music diploma exams this summer. Because Trevor (19), of The Ridgeway, passed both the LTCL (Licentiate Trinity College London) diploma for piano and the ARCO (Associate Royal College of Organists) diploma for organ. He started learning the piano when nine-years old, and took up the organ five years later.

And his musical talents are currently being put to good use as organist of All Saints' Church, Leatherhead, and pianist in the locally-based Janse Piano Trio.

Trevor is also a former Junior Exhibitor at Trinity College of Music, London, and used to be a music scholar at the City of London Freemen's School, Ashtead. Now he is looking forward to reading music at York University, after which he would like to do musical directing.
